Terms of Use (End User License Agreement)

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the RenewAlert mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

RenewAlert is a contract management application that helps you track contracts, manage renewals, and set reminders. The App is provided by RenewAlert ("we," "our," or "us").

3. Auto-Renewable Subscriptions

3.1 Subscription Plans

RenewAlert offers the following auto-renewable subscription plans:

  • Home & Family Plan: Monthly or Yearly subscription
  • Standard Plan: Monthly or Yearly subscription
  • Enterprise Plan: Monthly or Yearly subscription

3.2 Subscription Terms

  • Title: The subscription title corresponds to the in-app purchase product name
  • Length: Subscriptions are available in monthly or yearly intervals
  • Price: Prices are displayed in the App Store and may vary by region. Prices are subject to change with notice
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
  • Renewal: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
  • Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Refunds: Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policy. Contact Apple Support for refund requests

3.3 Free Trial

If offered, free trials allow you to try the service for a specified period. At the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled.

4. User Accounts

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Providing accurate and complete information
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the rights of others
  • Transmit any harmful code or malware
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App to store or transmit illegal content

6. Intellectual Property

The App and its content, features, and functionality are owned by RenewAlert and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal or business purposes.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create or upload to the App. By using the App, you grant us a license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which can be found at https://renewalert.com/privacy-policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate with third-party services. Your use of such services is subject to their respective terms and conditions. We are not responsible for third-party services.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RENEWALERT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App or by other means. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United States.

16. Apple-Specific Terms

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store:

  • This agreement is between you and RenewAlert, not Apple
  • Apple is not responsible for the App or its content
  • Apple has no obligation to provide support for the App
  • In the event of App failure, you may notify Apple for a refund
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement
